    Elementary: Academic Mentoring Program (AMP)

The Academic Mentoring Program (AMP) offers elementary students in the Greater Omaha Area a unique opportunity to travel to local colleges and universities for mentorship with college students, hands-on learning and future-readiness experiences, and engaging campus excursions that help students understand their interests and goals for their future.

  • A classroom with students seated at tables, listening to a teacher standing at the front reading from papers. The classroom has maps and educational posters on the walls, and students are engaged with some taking notes or holding electronic devices.

Middle & High School: Follow Through Program (FTP)

The Follow Through Program (FTP) is designed for middle and high school students who have previously participated in AMP. This program, operating bi-weekly at students' schools, offers essential resources including accountability checks, goal setting, mentorship, and future readiness programming to ensure students have the supplies, resources, and goals necessary for success.

    Extracurricular Support & Resource Provision

Access to resources and engaging in extracurricular activities are key components of a student’s success. All enrolled SAVE students are eligible for extracurricular support and resource provision, which includes connecting families with extracurriculars and covering 100% of the costs, providing necessary supplies for academics and extracurriculars, and connecting students to community resources.

  • 400 local youth served!

We know consistency and frequency matter. Unlike most youth-serving, college-bound programs, we serve our students at a minimum of bi-weekly throughout the entire academic year for mentorship, field trips, resource provision, and future-readiness programming.

  • 80% of students have a 3.0 or higher GPA!

Our programs are carefully designed to uplift our students to reach their academic potential. Through mentorship, goal setting, homework help, and advocacy, students receive tangible techniques to succeed.

  • $50,000 spent every year on extracurricular sign ups and needed supplies!

We know access to resources and engaging in extracurricular activities are key components of a student’s success. All students are eligible to receive needed supplies and extracurricular funding.
